Transform Our World
New resource hub for teachers to bring environmental action into the classroom
This September, we will be launching Transform Our World - a new online hub of free, practical, curriculum-linked resources to help teachers empower students to think globally and act locally.
The range of high quality, low prep resources is teacher-reviewed and tested, to ensure it is as easy as possible for teachers to bring impactful opportunities for environmental action into the classroom.
Most young people care about the world around them but now, for the first time, students are seeing people their age driving climate action and having their voices heard by the media.
The resource will show young people how the actions that they take as an individual can have a benefit to their friends, family and local area, and also to the wider world.
As well as lesson plans, the resource includes a series of inspirational activities which will be set in this context of me, my circle and my world so that we help students see the impact their actions can have. They will tackle topics such as fast fashion, waste and water and provide ways of students on the environmental and social issues involved.
To make the most of this enthusiasm and to realise the huge potential for learning that the topic offers, environmental charity Global Action Plan with the help of our enthusiastic community of teachers and partner organisations, are launching this new resource.
We're also building a Transform Our World community - a chance for teachers who are on a collective mission to connect with one another.
