Position: Senior EcoTeams Programme Manager - SEPM1020

Our EcoTeams programme is designed to help households make improvements across a wide range of consumption activities.  It seeks to change behaviour at the community level in order to reduce domestic environmental impact.

We have recently received funding to develop the programme further and have set ourselves some ambitious targets to engage thousands of households across the UK in taking up the EcoTeams challenge. 

The Senior EcoTeams Programme Manager will manage a small team and will be responsible for delivery of the programme nationally, establishing partnerships with other organisations and ensuring that all aspects of the programme are of the highest quality.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and positive individual with a passion for the environment, community and working with people across sectors to create change.  The successful candidate will have experience in managing environmental and community projects, including partnership working and managing staff and volunteers.

The Ecodriving Simulator Educators need to have a higher level of specialism therefore are paid more than when working with the Carbon Gym and Energy Bike. Global Action Plan - Volunteer
Location: Central London

This volunteer opportunity is to provide an efficient and professional support service for Global Action Plan as part of the Partnership Department. You will have the chance to not only make a difference but also to enhance your CV and gain experience of a partnership structure within the charity sector.

GAP is tackling climate change by enabling people to understand their impact and change their behaviour. We want to increase the number of people we can positively influence, but first we need to reorganise our administration and data storage.

We are looking for someone who can help us:

·  Improve our Access database and update the records in it
·  Consolidate information currently held in numerous Excel spread sheets
·  Reorganise file storage system on our servers
·  Improve our organisational techniques and influence best practice
·  Consider new ways to capture and manage data

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced organisational skills with an ability to multitask, and a positive, "can do" attitude. Candidates should have a genuine interest in environmental issues and desire to support this pioneering area of the charity sector

Global Action Plan - Volunteer
Location: Central London

This volunteer opportunity is to provide an efficient and professional support service for Global Action Plan as part of the Research & Development Department. You will have the chance to not only make a difference but also to enhance your CV and gain valuable experience.

GAP is tackling climate change by enabling people to understand their impact and change their behaviour. We want to increase the number of people we can positively influence, but in order to do this we need to carry out research into several relevant areas. We are looking for someone who can help us with desktop, online research of:

1) Technology to help capture energy savings resulting from pro environmental behaviour change programmes.
2) Methods for capturing behavioural/ attitudinal/ efficacy changes made in children aged 7-17 resulting from pro environmental behaviour change programmes.
3) Valid carbon equivalence reduction figures resulting from specific behaviour changes.
4) General survey design work.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced academic skills with an ability to multitask, and a positive, "can do" attitude. Candidates should have a genuine interest in environmental issues and desire to support this pioneering area of the charity sector.
